Asis Automation Strengthens Its Leadership in Africa with CalibeX Training in Gabon
24.04.2025
Having established a strong presence in fuel automation across the African continent, Asis Automation once again demonstrated its regional leadership through a CalibeX product training held in Gabon. This comprehensive training program, organized in Libreville, contributed to the development of the region's technical infrastructure while advancing Asis’s growth vision in Africa.
Located on the west coast of Central Africa, Gabon is one of the continent’s standout countries with its rich natural resources and strategic location. Its capital, Libreville, is a key hub for the oil and mining industries. With ongoing infrastructure investments and energy projects, Gabon is rapidly developing and has become an attractive market for foreign investors thanks to its growing need for technological solutions and high adaptability.
Developed by Asis Automation, CalibeX is an innovative solution that calibrates underground and aboveground fuel tanks quickly and with high precision. Compared to traditional methods, CalibeX delivers much faster and more reliable results, helping optimize inventory management at fuel stations, prevent losses, and enhance operational efficiency. Its portable structure provides flexibility for field operations, and the system works in full compatibility with automation integrations.
The two-day training program, conducted by Asis Automation’s International Project Supervisor Erhan Özdamar, offered participants an in-depth experience of CalibeX through both theoretical sessions and hands-on field applications. The training covered the technical infrastructure of the CalibeX system, integration processes, and field practices in detail. Participants included infrastructure, pump, and tank automation teams from stations across Gabon where the CalibeX system will be installed. Upon completion, participants received their certificates and became qualified to effectively operate CalibeX in the field.
By investing not only in product exports but also in knowledge and skills transfer, Asis Automation has positioned itself as one of the most trusted fuel automation technology providers in Africa. Operating across a wide geography—from Nigeria to Sierra Leone, Senegal to Gabon—Asis leads the region's automation transformation. This training program stands as a significant part of Asis Automation’s growth strategy in Africa and serves as strong evidence of the company’s commitment to supporting technology exports with lasting and sustainable solutions.
