Asis Automation Wins Three Major Awards at RDConf 2025
Asis Automation achieved outstanding success at RDConf 2025, securing first place in three different categories with its strong academic contribution and high-impact projects.
Held on 20–21 November at the Istanbul Information Commercialization Center, RDConf 2025 brought together leading figures from the worlds of innovation and technology. Asis Automation drew significant attention with its scientific content and innovative project presentations.
As the institution submitting the highest number of papers, Asis Automation received the ARGEMİP Special Award. The company’s contributions included:
• A Compact Non-Intrusive Measurement System for Critical Dimensions and Calibration Chart Generation of Underground Fuel Tanks by İlker Değirmencioğlu, Mechatronics R&D Manager
• CarrGo® Sorter: Parcel Sorting System with Autonomous Multi-Robots by Ali Han Polat, Hardware Design Engineer
• A Smart Shopping Cart: Shopper® by Onur Melikoğlu, Software Development Specialist
• Improving the Accuracy of Location Data in UWB-Based RTLS Using Deep Learning Methods by Ramazan Kavak (Embedded Software Engineer) and Fatih Aydemir (Hardware Design Engineer)
• UWB-Based High-Precision Real-Time Positioning and Multi-Dimensional Visualization by Onur Yılmaz, Software Development Specialist
Alongside its academic impact, Asis Automation also secured first place in the Best R&D Project and Best Design Project categories.
The awards were accepted by Savaş Barış, R&D Center Manager. Commenting after the ceremony, Mekatronik R&D Manager İlker Değirmencioğlu highlighted that Asis Automation’s engineering discipline, innovative mindset and collaborative structure have been essential to this success.
