CalibeX Expands Its Footprint in Spain and Across Europe

Asis Automation continues to advance its international activities in fuel automation and tank calibration technologies. Through a new collaboration in Spain, the company has further expanded the CalibeX user network in Europe. With the newly commissioned systems, the total number of CalibeX units in Spain has reached 10.
Building on the experience gained through projects in different countries, Asis Automation continues to strengthen its presence in the European market through new applications and local partnerships. The project in Spain reflects the company’s sustainable growth approach by combining product delivery with technical training, field implementation and knowledge transfer.
Developed by Asis Automation, CalibeX is a 3D laser-based tank calibration system designed to measure fuel tanks and generate calibration tables. Its portable structure and adaptability to different field conditions enable it to provide reliable measurement data for tank maintenance, lining and calibration operations.
The training sessions for the technical teams of the local business partner in Spain were delivered by Erhan Özdamar, International Project Specialist at Asis Automation. The programme covered CalibeX installation, operating procedures, scanning processes and the evaluation of measurement results. Supported by training materials prepared in both English and Spanish, the programme combined theoretical instruction with practical field applications under real fuel station conditions.
During the fieldwork, CalibeX was tested under different tank conditions. The successful completion of the scan despite internal pipework and physical obstructions enabled the technical teams to observe the system’s adaptability to real field conditions firsthand. Through the training programme, the local teams also gained the technical competence required to use CalibeX effectively in their own operations. As a result, the project went beyond system commissioning and was completed with hands-on training, field experience and sustainable operational support.
The fact that the number of CalibeX units in Spain has reached 10 demonstrates that Asis Automation’s activities in Europe are evolving beyond individual projects into a growing user network. By bringing tank calibration technology developed in Türkiye to the operational needs of different markets, Asis Automation continues to deliver not only its products, but also its technical expertise, field experience and long-term support approach to international markets.
